Built by South Sulawesi boat builders, the 25 meter Bulan Purnama is a traditional two masted sailing Phinisi boat, which combines a unique traditional iron wood style pirate boat with western luxuries. The boat could accommodate up to eight people with three different cabins, providing an affordable cruise for you and your family and friends. We offer year-round liveaboard trips and private charter options in the Komodo National Park, as well as to other locations across Indonesia.

This cruise is the best thing I’ve done in Indonesia. The crew is so friendly and any questions I had were answered promptly and clearly. Exploring LBJ, Komodo and all the surrounding hidden islands on this stylish boat far exceeded my idea of taking a 4 day tour. To snorkel and swim by day and star gaze with my friends at night was one of the best bonding experiences I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and served family style which I loved! This trip inspired me and opened my eyes to a way of traveling that I never knew would captivate me in such a way. Thank you to the whole crew! Can’t wait to be on open waters again ☠️
Tour of Komodo and Flores on Bulan Purnama
The trip started in Labuan Bajo which was not that impressive but once we were aboard the boat it was smooth sailing and the islands were absolutely beautiful. The snorkeling was amazing and the staff took care of everything for us. Food was good and beds were comfortable. hammocks and bean bags on deck were great to lounge in and enjoy scenery. Some of the best corals I have seen in Indonesia. Komodo National Park was a bit of a dump and overpriced but we saw the dragons which was cool. Would definately take a trip back to do some more diving.

Komodo Islands Cruise
We took a cruise on Bulan Purnama liveaboard and had an awesome time checking out all the highlights of Komodo National Park. Crew were friendly and helpful. I loved swimming with the manta rays, turtles, and our visit to see the Komodo dragons. We hiked up to the panoramic views of Padar Island and the water was amazingly clear and full of life. The boat was comfortable and lots of fun activities. Overall a great trip.
